Our First ACS Meeting!

Our inaugural ACS meeting was a definite success! We were pleasantly surprised by new members not only from Chemistry majors, but also from Health Science and Biology. We started with an ice cream social with waffle cones and chocolate dipped strawberries down in the basement of Rogers Hall, then moved upstairs for a brief presentation of what ACS is all about! We shared some exciting events we have planned for the school-year, including seminars, graduate tours, and banquet! We then split into mini-groups to get to know each other better. The meeting ended with a fun, chemistry experiment - gummy bear explosion with potassium chlorate! Join us for our next meeting!
